Certificate

Freshtrop's post harvest infrastructure is now certified to global standards of hygiene and food safety. even
before we achieved this milestone in the form of third party certifications, our customers from Europe would routinely visit and audit our infrastructure to their exacting standards and we remained their favorite Indian supplier based on what they saw first hand.

EURAPGAP CERTIFIED

"Good Agricultural Practice (GAP)" comprises guidelines which were set up to harmonies all agricultural business dealings in relation to Integrated Crop Management and Integrated Pest Management in the interests of more effective environmental protection. GAP ensures that the desired level of pest and disease control is followed and the highest possible yield achieved with the minimum of risk to staff, workers in the farms, people in the direct vicinity, the consumer, and the environment.
Freshtrop became one of the first Indian grape exporters to get 3 of its growers certified to the international EurepGAP standard on a pilot basis in 2003. This successful pilot was followed up

by getting 24 farmers under Freshtrop’s supervision to get certified in 2004. This figure has constantly grown and today more than 90% of grapes exported by Freshtrop are grown on EurepGAP certified farms conforming to the highest food safety practices in the world.
